RISK - HUMAN FACTOR

Description

The Risk – Human Factor course is designed to enhance safety and operational effectiveness for personnel working in industrial plants, ships and offshore oil & gas facilities. Human error is a leading cause of accidents in high-risk environments, and this practical training gives participants the tools to recognise and control such risks. The course covers key elements of human behaviour, fatigue management, situational awareness, decision making under pressure, communication techniques and how stress, routine and complacency influence performance. Participants learn to identify early warning signs of unsafe acts and to develop a positive safety attitude and team culture.

Using real-life case studies from the marine, offshore and industrial sectors, the training explains how simple errors escalate into serious incidents. Topics also include safety leadership, toolbox talk skills, behavioural observation and Stop Work Authority (SWA).

This course helps organisations build a strong human reliability framework and reduce unsafe acts at workplace. It is ideal for engineers, supervisors, deck officers, crane operators, control room operators and all safety-critical positions on board ships, drilling rigs, FPSOs, refineries and construction sites.

By improving human factor awareness and non-technical skills, the Risk – Human Factor course ultimately leads to fewer incidents, better teamwork and safer operations in all high-risk environments.
