Description
The Offshore Manning Familiarization Course (OMFC) is a specialized offshore training program designed for office team managing offshore activities, offshore crew, and marine professionals preparing to work on offshore installations such as MODUs (Mobile Offshore Drilling Units), FPSOs (Floating Production Storage and Offloading Units), fixed platforms, and offshore support vessels.
This essential course provides detailed knowledge of offshore manning structures, job roles, and emergency procedures. Trainees gain familiarity with offshore vessel departments including Deck, Engine, Drilling, Marine, Safety, and Hospitality. Key ranks covered include Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), Ballast Control Operator (BCO), crane operators, drillers, engineers, dynamic positioning officers (DPOs), and catering crew.
