Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP)

Description

The purpose of this training is to provide employees with mobile elevating work platforms safety training prescribed by legislation so they may obtain the ability to operate equipment in a safe, competent manner and work safely in their work environment and around other employees.

We find MEWP is gaining grounds in all height maintenance work because :

○ It can provide greater reach and improved safety than a standard ladder.

○ MEWP offer many features that help employees maximize their productivity.

○ Businesses can use MEWP in virtually any environment.

Unsafe use of a MWEP is problematic for a business and its employees. MWEP operators who ignore safety precautions put themselves and others in danger. Thus, completing safety training is critical for anyone who operates one of a MWEP.

Requirements
