Helicopter Landing Assistant (HLA)
Description
The objective of the course is to provide training to Helicopter Landing Assistants on performing various activities related to helicopter operations at an offshore mining installation. The course covers various aspects related to helicopter operations at an offshore mining installation, including hazards associated with helicopter operations, identifying dangerous areas, entry and escape routes for both the helideck and helicopter, and the use of personal protective equipment.
Delegates can learn about cleaning, finishing touch of equipment required for safe helicopter operations. Finally, delegates can be skilled at the techniques and movements required to start the helicopter engines, along with any essential help supplied for the duration of the method. Upon a hit finishing touch of the direction, delegates will get of a certification as a Helicopter Landing Assistant..
