Hazardous Cargo Vanning Survey
Description
Our course provides staff with training on logistics, shipping, and cargo handling in the necessary knowledge of efficiently and safely moving hazardous cargo. It gives an overview of various regulations, ways of compliance with those, risk assessments, and emergency response procedures, putting considerable weight on the identification, classification, and compatibility of hazardous materials. Participants learn the process of performing vanning surveys by checking the integrity of containers, their stowage requirements, and proper documentation in accordance with the IMDG Code, CTU Code, and IMO Circular 1498.
Cases and practical exercises develop hands-on skills in current good practices within the industry. In return, the professionals will be trained in the safe handling of hazardous cargo, followed by effective response in cases of emergencies and observing regulatory compliance.
