Forklift Operator

Description

The objective of Forklift Operator training is to provide classroom and practical instruction in the principles of safe equipment operation for the potential forklift drivers.

The course is split into two days:

Day 1 covers Forklift Safety and Stability theory, while Day 2 is dedicated to practical training on the forklift. 

The objectives of this course are:

  • Demonstrate the ability to inspect and define deficiencies in a lift
  • Identify the construction and proper use of a Forklift
  • Identify the ability to safely operate a lift

Requirements
  • Minimum Age: 18 years or older.
  • Basic Literacy & Numeracy: Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Physical Fitness: Good health and ability to perform physical tasks.
  • Valid ID: Proof of identity (e.g., government-issued ID).
  • Workplace Safety Knowledge: Prior experience in warehouse or logistics (preferred).
  • Medical Clearance: If required by local regulations.
  • Language Proficiency: Ability to understand and communicate in the course language (e.g., English).
