Fitter and Welder Refresher
Description
Fitter and Welder Refresher training provides the overall necessary training a person needs that is appointed with overall responsibility for ensuring the safety of the worksite. The course will provide performing authorities, with the knowledge and ability needed to manage, control, and direct work processes. The aim course is to understand legal responsibilities, identify worksite hazards and take the initiative to eliminate these, conduct formal risk assessments, and apply safe work practices. The participants will also be taken through how to monitor ongoing work, respond to changes in conditions, and ensure good communication and handovers. Course suitable for personnel currently in or about to enter a Performing Authority role.

Requirements
- Basic Qualification: Certified Fitter, Welder, or Technician.
- Work Experience: Relevant practical experience in fitting or welding.
- Previous Training: Completion of initial Fitter or Welder training.
- Health and Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with safety practices.
- Employer Authorization: Approval from your organization.
- Refresher Due: Training required as per validity period or competency review.
