Fire Warden

Description

The Fire Warden  course prepares individuals to take on the crucial role of Fire Warden or Fire Marshal in the workplace. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of fire prevention, fire safety legislation, and the different types of fire extinguishers and their correct usage.

The course covers key topics such as Fire Warden/Marshal responsibilities, human behavior in fire emergencies, the chemistry of fires, fire hazard identification, and evacuation procedures. Additionally, the course includes a practical session where candidates will gain hands-on experience using fire extinguishers, ensuring they are well-equipped to respond effectively in the event of a fire.

Target Audience: All staff members who are part of the building fire evacuation team, such as Fire Wardens, Door Wardens, and Evacuation Officers.
