Control Room Operator
Description
The goal of the course is to assist the Control Room Operators in qualifying to handle simulated emergencies efficiently while maintaining their calm and due diligence under trying circumstances. Since they are the first line leaders at the facility, their timely actions will reduce further damage apart from minimizing risks.
Practical exercises give operators confidence in appropriate action in case of emergency and enable them to make the best decisions to protect personnel and assets. The focus of this course will be on actions taken quickly and properly, in an attempt to have the Control Room Operators with the expertise and ability needed to effectively handle crises that pop up and improve installation safety and security.
They have to be very observant, with great levels of reasoning and composure, even in the most desperate moments. Control Room Operators undergo severe training in getting acquainted with emergency procedures and simulations, which would empower them to make informed decisions and take further command for response.
With expert knowledge and rapid responses, Control Room Operators are regarded as crucial in ensuring efficiency and the personal safety of people and assets within industrial settings.
Target Audience
The key function of the Control Room Operators is to supervise the operations in the Control Room at a central level and, if necessary, to manage situations regarding emergencies.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems or mechanical operations.
- Ability to work under pressure and in shifts.
